And the lot mapping and lists will be available within the next couple of days - Provided I recover from my horrendous forced 8 hours away from my sims today! I have absorbed the general context of Monet - and live, breathe, dream, think, plus answer the psych today - in Monet terms- which is fine with me- pastels are so healing!

Haha sounds great!

It was in Rome I first saw one of Monet's classic paintings IRL for the first time, it was totally fascinating (they look much better IRL than on pictures :) )

Can't wait to get started

I'm assuming this is where I'm suppose to post my finished lot for the project ~_^.  I spent 3 days working on this thing!  I really struggled with the style of the home....I don't really think I properly grasped "small" in reguards to the manor home, but I gave it ye ole college try.  Anyway, here it is!

Lot Information: 30x30 Skyborough 525 ~ Groundskeepers Best Manor Home- small - with lush garden/pond

It is lovely! - and "small" for a manor house, especially a "BEST" manor house- is what I would consider extra large from my 2br apt viewpoint... absolutely beautiful!

*big sigh of relief*

I was soooo worried you wouldn't like it!  I realized manor homes aren't my thing though.  The first day was spent trying to work out the layout of the home with a lot of hair pulling on my end of the computer.

So, as long as the brain behind the project accepts it, I've done my part!

Thanks Ruth ~_^

Animaga- from the appearances of your Groundskeepers Best Manor- yep, they are your as yet unrealized thing...and "brain????"

Mileyrocks- Sunrise Impressions is a members only (i.e.-not opened up to the simmers on the Sims3 forums) group project to create a "Tribute to Claude Monet" neighborhood. I suggest if you are interested that you go to the sunser impressions database, review the lots and lot types/districts available- select one, using the 'quick edit' feature put your name in the 'claimed' section of that lot. For further clarification- there are posts in this section- and pictures in the photos section of our yahoo group.. and hopefully I will see your name as claiming a lot soon!

I don't believe there is an official deadline as she stated (somewhere I believe) that she expects for this to take a month or two.

Kayllisti (thx for jumping in Terentia) - yes, I expect it to go thru Oct or at least a good part of that month..

and for anyone who might need it - I have floorplans of all the types of dwellings, yes current era but very close to the era we are building in - floorplans and links to websites giving these and more floorplans..
