I posted a new story to keep me busy while I wait for the team legacy round to come back my way.  If any of you are interested I've posted a thread on TS3 forum with direct links to it.  I'd really like some feedback so if you get bored and want to give it a look, you'd be doing me a favor ~_^

Hmm, you builders need to read more ~_^

On the same topic as soon as Toria is finished with her remodel of the Adams Estate I'll be uploading the lot with some pictures.  I really like the house.  It's got a strange air about it.

I generally prefer to have more than one chapter read before I comment, but I do want to read more, so that has to be a good thing :)

There were a few grammatical errors and places where the sentences could have run more smoothly, but they didn't completely fill the story or anything.

I suggest when reading back over something to read it aloud. When you read silently you do, as you say, automatically fill in missing words or even rearrange sentences without realising. When reading aloud, it jarrs when its awkward or misplaced.

It definately reads as a builder's story with the walkthrough of the house xD

I'll admit...my grammer isn't always the best.  It's usually why I rely on someone else to read the story and give me their opinion before I tackle it a second time.  I tend not to see the tech when it comes to my own writing...but I really should start reading them back aloud.  That's a really good idea actually because I normally don't catch my missing words unless I read the sentence a few times and slow it down.

I had to do that walkthrough...I had to get her to that door in the basement to set up Charles' introduction in the end ~_^  The remodel might turn up some more information about her past...it really all depends on the darn screenshots though.

It so much easier to write something when you don't have to rely on taking a picture at the right moment.  Normally I take the pictures after I have the chapter atleast in my head...but I always miss something.

Thank you for picking on my grammer Tam ^_^ I really need help in that department.  Since we're on that topic...how much do you charge for editing services? ~_^ I jest!  Seriously though, thank you so much.

I like it! The music added an extra effect. ;)

Writing vampire stories at this moment is a bit difficult, since people automatically think either "OMG I LUV TWILIGHT!!!" or "OMG I HATE TWILIGHT!!!!". Your story seems to be successfully distancing itself from that stereotype, though. I like it. :)

Rosalina....definitely had unique taste. I like the purple theme in the living room. I have a feeling I'll be a bit more fond of Toria's taste than Rosalina's, lol!

I have a MAJOR problem.  The writing bit of chapter 3 is finished....however I have no idea how Im going to do these screenshots with what I've written.  There is alot, alot of dialog and I don't know what Im going to do...so....I have a request.

I need someone with a real photographic eye to help me out.  That's right...Im requesting a partner.  I do the writing, >you< take the pictures.  I'll even build the sets if thats what it takes but I just can't do both anymore >_< I don't have the time for one and second of all I don't really have the talent for the pictures required for sim stories.

If anyone is willing to help me out you'll be my best friend for life!  This also means you get to read the chapters before anyone else does and heirloom becomes your story too.

If I cant find someone to help me out I wont totally kill the story...I'll just be posting the updates in a different format.

Atleast this story made it out of the notebook ~_^ that's step one in the right direction.

Lol. Screenshots can be a headache. I don't do something like your story but I do a legacy and I know especially when toddlers or anyone really decide to age up in front of a door or some other stupid place just to make it difficult for me is the worst. Woo for this one making it out of your notebook! You should do that more often, really.

Aww, thank you Alpha ^_^

Simslovingbabe, normally my "sim" stories just kinda happen.  I'll be playing and take some screenshots then write a story with what I got.  That's originally how Heirloom started.  I built a house I really liked, but didn't have the juice to decorate it.

I'm a huge vampyre nerd and have been for a very long time (the mythology is really interesting) and while I was finishing up the basement I thought..."What if a vampyre lived here...and the owners never knew?"

So I made Toria and Charles and just started taking pictures....now, it's actually becoming a story.

It always amazes me how idea's for stories come to people and not just myself.  I got bored and built a house...that house led to Heirloom.   Now, I'm dreaming of vampyres again lol.
