Hello everybody,

I've been so up on the organization of the project that I've totally forgot to request some help from all you wonderful people

Is there anyone that want to help out?

I'd greatly appreciate it

All the best

T

If I were organized, I'd offer to help organize.  But sorry, not much for that ;P  But I'm full of ideas.  So if you ever need one, just ask me ;D

Not sure how I could help. What exactly do you need help with?

Well,

this is what I need:

- I'm still short on a couple of stories for the families, so any ideas there are welcome, most the household left are traditional middle class families, but there are a couple of others.

- There is always need for people answering questions on threads and following up on ideas etc, and also making sure that the information provided is accurate (I realized yesterday for example that some of my links where not working  )

- When creations are starting to be ready, we need to list them so they are easily found...

- Some PR for the project is always needed, to make sure we have enough members creating unique stories, builds, cc...

well, those are a couple of things I just thought of, but of course, being part of the project is support too

Thanks guys!

I see that lot 31 and 32 are empty (no family, no building listed) They are near my Old spinsters. Perhaps the 30 x 30 lot could be a community garden/pond. And the 20X30 could be an Elderly couple (traditional) who are raising their teenage daughter/son?

That would place a community garden/pond between the two elderly households, both traditional with perhaps not a "poor" feeling but one of frugality and old world?

Tell me if this would fit into the greater scheme, I do not have the game or a map to see if that would place the garden too close to another similar community lot or not.  If so perhaps the 30X30 could be a slightly larger family (One Elder, Adult Male, YA Female, Child and Toddler) that way the elders on either side could watch over the little ones etc. Just some things flowing off the top of my head.

Let me know if you like any of these ideas or if the section of town was to have a different vibe.

Bah .. in that first paragraph it was suppoes to be teenage GRAND daughter/son.  I hate the limited time they give for editting. /sigh

I definitely like your suggestions, specially the one of the elder couple raising their teenage granddaughter. I was also thinking of having more community lots, a pond garden is a great suggestion I will look into where to fit them The more traditional area is around lot 28, maybe i'll put them there.

Thank you for sharing your ideas

Is there anything I can do in terms of organising the families / households? I will post a forum thread to ask for more help, so that we can really get a move on. I can create a thread if you want in the forums here and on the sims 3 site for links to the families. Then maybe once all the lots and households have been finished, you can set up a table like the other ones for sign-ups for doing stories. I understand that we would need the lot and family to actually do the story, and maybe some of the other households and lots to set the scene.

MusicGirl, A lot of my families are on hold until we can come up with a traditional kimono for my elder ladies. I'm not sure if WA has them or not. Perhaps you could research that some. It would be a big help for all the "traditional" families to be able to progress. Thanks.

MusicGirl, all PR is good I think. I have created a thread in ts3 that I was hoping we would all use to get more people interested and to promote our work. Feel free to bump it up with stuff to catch peoples eye!

Ok... I have WA. Family is finally gone. And I'm starting to get over my hellacious illness. Just want to check that using WA items to create families is A Okay? Going to delve into it more on Wed but I think there might be enough to get me through my more traditional families. Unfortunatley in all the mess I had to do to get WA up and running I lost one of my families I had already made but not uploaded it. Should be easy enough to redo quickly though. Ok.. must still be sort of sick .. I'm rambling aren't I?
