I know it's very early to talk about Christmas town, but I just can't wait to participate on a neighborhood with a Christmas theme :D The whole November should be alloted for a Christmas related challenges  so by the time December comes the neighborhood is all set up. :D

For sure the Sims 3 Store will have Christmas items. I hope they have a set for free just like they provide us for the Halloween.

ooh ooh me too! I hope they release whatever set they're going to give us early enough to be prepared.  How long has the halloween set been out? A couple of months, right? So they seem to be planning ahead on these.... thinking out loud here...

I have been thinking Christmas themed already. It's never really too soon to get started. Just hope if they do release free Christmas items, they will install in my game. The Halloween and Thanksgiving items won't, so I don't dare try any purchased ones right now.

+:(

The other day I saw this on the EA store site The Sims™ 3 Holiday Collector's Edition. I don't know what this means for us. I'm hoping for a Christmas set soon. I want to do another screenshot contest for Christmas.

Pogi pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease pm me with the details on how to do terrains in sims 3 as I have tons of terrains I made in sims 2 that i would love to import to 3 and share with all in time for this. Snow, ice, snowy leaves, snowy ground covers, snow kissed lawn flowers, snowy rocks and so much more:wink: I know how to make textures to import but they only work for in game objects:tongue: I am so in for this soon as I get to Norway 3rd week November:D So pm me the details and i can at least get them made and ready for import until then...

Ugh, I envy you guys with your white Christmases... anyway I'd love to participate in any Christmas Challenges should they come along! Already into the Christmas Spirit, they've put Christmas Trees up at Woolworth's, ha!

You have a Woolworths Mmyoko?! Wow, that brings back so many lovely memories from my childhood.  My grandma used to take me to that store all the time and buy me some baseball card packs and then we'd look at all the toys and of course (my aunts were teenagers in the 80's) all the makeup lol!  Then we'd all sit at the back diner and have a soda or pie. They tore all the Woolworths here down over 20 years ago.

I'm ready for Christmas building, especially since I went to a bunch of stores this weekend, and Halloween is not even over yet and they've already got Christmas spreads out.  I was walking through Big Lots looking for "fall" decorations and can't find anything but snowmen and light up christmas stuff.  Oh, and it'll be the biggest shocker if central Texas gets a white christmas, last time that happened, I was 5, 24 years ago.  Would be nice though! :D

I wish The Sims Store give us Christmas items for free like they did for Halloween.

Count me in on your Christmas screenshot contest :) I'll wait for it

OK I found new different Snow Terrain paint at MTS, you can access it here.

There's another set of different Season Terrain Paints (at MTS again) with snow, you can download it here. There's more in MTS just visit the site at 'build mode section' and not at patterns

I'm not sure if downloaders will get this terrain paints from lots you've uploaded on the exchange. Havent tried it yet

Wow, you still have Woolworths.  They were one of the first casualties of the recession in the UK. Gone, no more yummy easter eggs or Christmas treats, pick n mix too.

I would love to have a free Christmas set too.  The snow sound awesome but I am nervous to DL anything from external sites.

@ Jasnik82. I downloaded the terrain paints but only installed a few of them. I havent tried yet all the snow paints.

I try to avoid installing or using CCs for build items :)
