Builders' Boulevard

Hey Everyone!

I was able to finally get past my issues with my lots not installing and today I was able to get 3 houses uploaded to the exchange.  Two of the houses I had uploaded before but took down because of the installation issue and the third is my newest; Arabian Golden Palace.

I would appreciate your comments. Here's the links to the stories and houses.

I also made a thread but as usual unfortunately, I can't even get into the forum thanks to the old "Proxy Error" problem. I think EA should give up trying to run a website because obviously they don't know how to do. They should just hire an outside source to run a website for them. This problem, as most of their problems, goes on and on and on. I'm really fed up with it. I spend hours and hours just trying to get messages posted on  there.  I know I'm just venting but it's really disgusting how they treat their customers.

Fid, I really like the palace! I think it is one of your best builds that I have seen! I love the rich color that you used in the interior.

I have to admit I am getting pretty annoyed with the TS3 site myself.

Anyway, back to your lots.  You have certainly been busy.  Lovely work as always, I have to agree with Lkadas, your palace is the best for sure.  Fabulous!

I think the palace is the best too but it seems the general pop of TS3 would prefer Eden Place. Of course it's probably because it wll serve more of their housing needs in the game which is understandable. I still enjoyed making the palace the most as it's so grand.

I guess i'm the odd one I like the village the best, it's just really peacefull and serene. And the decor is quite tastefull.

Thanks allot! I actually have sims living in the Asian lot. It's also a convenient lot to live in because even though it's on a 60X60 lot,the main house is small and easy to get  around. It doesn't even have a second floor.

But if you want your sim to go spend some time working out, the gym is not far away and since there's also a bathroom up there, your sim can also clean up from the work out or use the toilet.

One thing I didn't mention which I should have is that it also has a basement under the gym with wine racks but also a comfortable little set up like a couch and table and chairs, and it's own bathroom.  I suppose I'll just let downloaders figure that one out on their own. LOL!!!

Fid, All three are quite impressive. I'm not sure which one I like best. Rec'd everything. Great work!

BTW - I've been fed up with TS3 forums. That's why you rarely see me there.

As far as TS3; Idon't think they will ever improve. If it's not one problem, it's another and it never seems to change, just new problems added to the ones they already have.

I try not to say much on that website because they also have a way of exacting revenge on anyone who criticizes them.

I haven't been to the TS3 site in over a month.  I run a fast computer...and it takes ages for the forum to even load and when it does it's choppy.  When I do manage to get there, if I want to post something or reply to a post it takes ages for the posting screen to appear and again takes forever to offically post IF the post goes through.  *shakes fist*

So yeah ~_^ I'm doing all my chatting here on and saving myself the headache.

You would think EA would get it in their heads that they need to do something serious with their website. I would suggest that they put in a completely different format; the one they have is antiquated.

At least I have this website to come and vent all my frustrations. I'm don't do it on that website in fears they'll ban me. I already can't get featured no matter what I upload.  Maybe I'm just not that talented but I've seen stuff featured that doesn't deserve even a second look.

I gotta agree with you about some of the things they feature Fidlerten.  I see some amazing builds sitting in studios gathering dust....then I see a recolor featured.  So the person who changes the blue and green stripe pattern gets a gold star...but the guy who spends hours perfecting his latest build doesn't even get a pat on the back?

And yes, I know this is a game and people shouldn't be building, writing, or being creative just to get that gold star...but come...on.  If you're going to hand them out to people atleast put some effort into the ones you're choosing and NOT just hand them out to the first 5 or 6 newest uploads you see on the exchange.

*End Rant*

You don't have to fish very hard for compliments Fidler...they pretty much always rain down like manna from heaven for you ~_^

Truth is; I don't care so much for their shooting star anyway simply because they hand them out so easily for such trivial things like you said. I just don't like the idea of being blacklisted. I spend hard earned money on their products and I'm a productive member of their website and I expect to be treated like everyone else and not singled out. I'm sure I'm not the only one they do that to but that doesn't make it any better.

Three lovely builds. I rather like the village myself, but the bbq area in the palace really struck me for some reason.
