For some reason (and I'm betting it's simply a texture loading issue) when I build anything other than a community lot (thats if I'm mainly building with build mode items and very little buy mode items) Edit in game is insanely laggy and I've got to the point where I don't want to build the houses for my world while in edit game mode. Now, I was wondering if it's possible to upload the world to the actual game, then build the houses in a much less lag free zone, and still have the homes carry over if I upload the world?
Any help would be greatly welcomed.

If you don't want to build in Edit mode here's what you need to do..... First place your lots roads, etc. then export, now for somereason you can not download your world unless you upload it to the exchange but instead of doing that you can find your world in your documents/sims 3/exports, then copy it to the downloads folder and install by launcher, then just go build your lots, then save all of the lots to your library, then you have to go back to your saved world in CAW and place the lots in their appropriate places It sounds more complicated than it would be.....

That logically makes sense anyway lol. I honestly had no idea about how to go uploading the world anyway. Id been doing everything in edit mode, so I didn't even know I had to upload my OWN world before I could download it into my game. Seems a little silly, but it wouldn't be the first time ~_^
I'll give that a go...the run around would seem a much less of a headache than trying to build in edit mode.
I mean, it's like waiting for something to download on dial-up and I've got a pretty good computer >_<

I would do one lot and then test placing it in the world though because the lag could possibly be worse when placing lots.....
