I have made a simcelebrity, This is my first attempt at one and with a lot of help from the friendly people at MTS she is looking pretty darn good! Obviously though what matters is if you can reconize her! The first person to guess correctly gets a virtual piece of pie!

Hints: I would like to keep hints at a minimum and add more if you get stuck, However the one hint is the if you are not American you most likely will NOT who she is!

I watch a lot of movies, but am drawing a blank.  Her face seems familiar.  Perhaps a simple clue of what type of celebrity she is, TV/Movies/Music...  American is too broad a clue XD

My only guess would be that "4th" judge on Amerian idol.  She's been a song writer forever but never got her break and I think she may have preformed on the last season with a bikini girl?

lol Im just going mainly off the clues though.  I've seen the woman maybe twice and the sim does kinda look like her.  But theres my guess ~_^

Good job with the nose, though the nostrils seem to high, the overall shape is right.  Lip shape is right, the eyes seem good, but maybe move a tad closer together.  Eyebrow arch is too rounded, needs an angle to it.  Jaw shape and cheek fullness look pretty good.  Though cheekbones should be a little lower.

Overall, a decent likeness.  One suggestion I'd heard when drawing celebrities, exaggerate their features/expressions a bit, almost a caricature and they will be more instantly recognizable (so long as you know the celeb that is).  I think the same can be applied to Sims.  The few celeb attempts I've made, only looked right when you accented a notable attribute.  Make it slightly larger/disproportionate to reality.  Not so much you'd really notice, just enough to characterize them, especially so your sim can seem to emulate their facial expressions.  The ones that I made to look as close to the reference image as possible ended up not looking like the person at all.  Weird, huh?

On her, the most notable features are the strong jaw shape and dimples, as well as her nose.  Adding a bit of mass to these may help.

Sorry if you didn't want any criticism, I mean it to be constructive and maybe something you can use in the future.  My apologies if you do not want any criticism.

p.s.

Just looked at the pics I posted again, that actress does have a lot of resemblance to Kara Kioguardi.  Not an exact match, but not a bad guess any way!  lols!
