Hey Everyone!

For those who didn't know it, we have a new month-long challenge going and there is a new Amateur challenge for those who don't want to compete against the big guys. LOL!!!

We could use some more entrants so go check out the rules.  Here's the link:

Hi ElderGamer,

I'm afraid that this challenge suppose to end on the 10th of this month. I might consider postponing it because of TS3 being down.  Still, that wouldn't leave you much time to finish anything unless you already have something, or intend to work really quickly.

I will also be starting another challenge a few days after this one is over with which will also have an amateur challenge. It will be park building challenge.

You let me know what you'd like to do. I could probably postpone this current challenge by maybe two days being the 12th but that's as far as I will postpone it.

Fid, does that mean the challenge ends on March 10? If so, I am afraid I will not make it on time because of my trip. Sorry. :(

No, I'm going to postpone it until the 12th because of TS3 being down. Is that going to be enough time for you

I will still not make it on time. I feel like school is totally going to kill me Tuesday to Thursday.   .-.  Now that's awesome, I'm not even back to school and I already can't wait for the weekend. xD

I may have to extend it more, but right now the 12th is it. Sorry Francis if you can't make it. Surely sign up for the next one. Parks are usually quite easy. The only thing you really have to build will be bathrooms.

Hey ElderGamer,

I'd try to go over the rules with you but I'm afraid I'd miss something.  Hopefully, the forum will be back up some time today and you can check it out.

I will say there are no building restrictions accept no cc. There's an amateur and a pro challenge. Anyone can enter the pro challenge though the amateur is limited to those who have not been featured for a house before, or won one of my pro challenges.  It's basically, build whatever your dream house is.

That's all I could tell you right now.  Maybe you'd like to participate in the next challenge if not this one. There's not much time left for this one.

Oh great! I have been working like a mad dog to get this house done in time Fid so I am glad for those two extra days. This will have to be my last house challenge for a bit though. Rl is hectic again. I will be lurking(if that is possible since I haven' t been able to get on the forums for a week or two) I would so love to make a park though... Quit tempting me Fiddie!!!

kquinn,

That's why it's called "Potpourri"; it's whatever you'd like to build. There are no rules as far as what type of house to build or size for that matter.  I believe I remember your modern and I was wondering why you didn't enter it into the challenge.

I think that allot of builders were confused about what "Potpourri" meant. If you make a potpourii, you can put whatever scent kind of thing you want to put into it; that's why it's called potpourri. Maybe I should have used another name.

SimEve,

You could build a park in a couple of hours I bet. Find a day when you're creative juices are flowing for landscaping particularly, and just build one. This will be the easiest challenge yet. I'm expecting allot of entries.

Haha! You might think so fiddie but it doesn't go down like that! I spend way to much time on landsacping tools as is. I might still make one though. Urgh. Once I have an idea I can't not make it.

SimEve,

Of course, unless you sign up, then  you can't make it. But there lots of time between here and there so maybe one day you'll get some inspiration and WAM! we have a park from SimEve!  LOL!!!

With the creativity and detail oriented nature of those that enter your challenges Fidlerten, you know our parks are not going to be done in a couple hours.... Will spend that long just deciding what color the walkways should be. Lol.

I get ya Mark. Still, a month is a really good time to get something done. I'm thinking there will be allot of entries, that is if TS3 ever gets back up and running properly. I'm still wondering if this whole time will only be for the forums and the Exchange will still be down. We'll have to go through another long period of waiting while they fix that too.
