My recent entry lot for Fidlerten's Potpouri Challenge. Download link: Sunflower's Urban Lift.

A few screenshots.

A couple views of sunning platforms in the middle of the pool.

That is it for the teasers. :D They are to entice you to watch the video. Mainly a video tour, but also a light-hearted music video about a ficticious singer named Sunflower. About how boys, no matter how old, tend to get in trouble with Mom for their toys and playing too much. The song is from The Sims web site, think it came from TS2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYPDJLRiwE4

Brilliant Meestor! Wow - stunning build and I cannot even mention all the clever ingenoius things you have done in this build.  The video tour really does show it off well I must say!I can see whay you made it a viseo tour as it's such a 3D build.

Great work! I wish I could rec but you will have to make do with a 5star rating on youtube lol :D

Awesome Meestor! I really love all of the interesting architectural detailing! the mix of diagonal and straight is really advanced and with all of the cfe work I think you are definitely mastering building. The video was great. I agree that pictures would not have done the lot justice. I can't wait to see this in game.

Allium, thank you yet again. I am becoming a huge fan of video tours. They just show depth and 3d a lot better like you say. And I will certainly take the 5 star rating as a substitute of a rec. :D

balildaisy, thank you so much for taking the time for your wonderul comments. :D

SimEve, thank you, thank you. Wonderful comments yourself. As far as cfe, I did learn two diagonal walls close together with different cfe heights can be pesky to deal with when corrections need to be made... ugh.. lol. Thank you again for your comments here as well as on YouTube.

After being wowed by your video   I realised I was supposed to be taking in your building prowess lol!  Just had to go back for another look.

While I am more of a traditonal kind of gal, your build astounds me.  It must have taken an age to get everything just right.  Very smart to go with the video for showcasing, as the pics do not do this enough justice.  A very unique build, which is amazing and your interiors are fabulous too.  You carried the theme throughout really well and I have learned that to fully appreciate the work that has gone into a build, you have to DL it.  Totally in awe!!

Can we expect to see you in the next SIFF Festival?

Magician - Haha, thank you for a great compliment. :)

Jasnik - Thank you as well. I am glad Fidlerten gives us a month for his challenges. I usually take the whole time. Lol. Definitely getting more and more into making machinima. So you probably will see me with an entry or two for the next SIFF.

Amoebius - I used to drive by that building quite a bit when I lived in Minnesota. It is definitely and interesting one. Was always fun to see people's reactions to it the first time they saw it.

Its so amazing, i allready tryed to create it in ts3 but i miserably failed :) there is by the way another build of this architect in Hamburg / germany its also impossible to recreate it '^^ Ghery is one of my favorite architects

Amoebius. I wouldn't even know where to begin trying to replicate that first building in The Sims 3... Parts of it hang over the river there too if I remember right. That second building looks really interesting to me too. Wish we had curved walls. I have a couple of ideas brewing using your LBH tech ideas. I hope I can do your technique justice ;)

SuperPogimon, thank you for your comments on the pool platforms. I am really looking forward to what the rest of the community does with the idea.

Like Jasnik, the architecture isn't my style - but it would be impossible not to see the skill that went into creating it, and be amazed. And I love the landscaping with the pools, floating platforms and the fountain/waterfall bit.

Tamlyn, thank you for your comments. I love your little gymnastic panda bear avatar by the way.

Freynas, thank you as well. Right now, you can download it through the 4shared link at the top of the thread. It is a Sims3pack. Just download it to your sims download folder. From there, the launcher will be able to install it exactly the same as if it came off of TS3. If the exchange at TS3 is truly fixed recently, I will put it up there next week too.

Now that the contest is over I can tell you how much I liked your lot, Meestor.  And the video was a nice little touch, too.  Great dramatic architecture and all of your trademark little details everywhere.  Truly lovely work. :)

WoW  That is so cool!  Building and landscaping are both amazing.  The pool with the boulders in it is such a nice touch.  Really, truly creative. You've got mad building skills - jealous! I'm going to have to dl it and take a peek around to see just how you accomplished all the effects

Thank you so much for your comments Ruth. This was my first build started after your tutorial on architecture. I think it has helped me a great deal with creating more visual interest in the building's exteriors. Thank you again for that tutorial and sharing it with us simmers.:)

Kitkat, thank you for your comments as well. You have mad complimenting skills. Lol. I hope you enjoy the lot as much in-game as I did making it. :)
