My launcher is telling me there's an exception raised and an "illegal instruction" every time I try to upload my newest lot. It is way under the max size. It uses some cc, but not much. I did use testingcheats to buy some garden plants. It asks me if I want to debug the lot. Choosing yes or no seems to yield the same result...nothing. Won't upload.

If you have any ideas, please let me know. It's holding up my Build-n-Share entry.:( I'm a little worried I messed something up when I installed the postal thing for covershots. But I haven't used it in awhile, and I didn't on this lot.

Their codes are so descriptive and helpful huh? Just a guess, but maybe a corrupted item somewhere? Either CC or store content. Short of taking them out one-by-one and trying to upload each time, I am not sure how you would find that out though. My upload problems have always been tied to some kind of corrupted installed item or pattern that I used.

The poastal editor is harmless, difficult to mess anything. If you are  using your Mac for this lot, I`d say it is the CC that is causing it.

Robold,

I downloaded that tool because it seemed good, but I'm having a hard time understanding how I should use it, and I can't find much instructions... :( Any tips? Which folder should I set for scanning for example?.... Thanks

You should scan your sims 3 folder in documents and also your core file in the programms section (You might not have to do the last one if you've never touched that folder or if you've never downloaded any .package CC)

Hmm. Ok. A few ideas here. I'm always weary of new programs. The one you rec'd seems pretty legit. Have any Mac users reported using it?

Kquinn...4 MB?! Oh wow. That's not much. I sure hope I can upload items bigger than that. :(  Going to poke around a bit tonight or tomorrow and see what I can figure out.

I think the problem is cc, but I'm not sure. Everything else seems to upload. But I really thought I found everything in that a-frame, and still it refuses to cooperate!

Why must I have a constant problem with my Sims game? Even with a brand new, rockin' computer, I still am limited in how I play?! Kind of makes me hate Macs. I bought this darn thing because I thought it would be great for school and because I knew Sims was made for it as well. I can't believe I have this great computer and have had to go in to my game about 8 different times tonight only to be disappointed every single time when the launcher tells me an item is bugged.:(

I'm going to bed. I'm tired, crabby, and sad.

Thanks for listening to my rant, and for trying to help. Everything will look better in the morning...

This recommended programme is for Windows only, can´t use it on Mac. Macs are fantastic, but not yet for all gaming. Install bootcamp and  Win7 and you can run your Mac as a PC  as well when palying games. You could never run your PC as Mac. Don`t worry, just some learning to do, as always in life .
