Builders' Boulevard

I placed the fire station (that came with the game) in Sunset Valley and noticed that even though it is a community lot, it has a stove. When I used the eyedropper tool to clone it, it says it is a SimmerChar Dual-State Stove and the appliances menu comes up, but that particular stove isn't in the menu. I am trying to convert the fire station I built for a Build-n-Share challenge into an Ambitions functional fire station, but the stove was eliminated when I converted the lot to a community lot and that SimmerChar Dual-State Stove is nowhere to be found. Has anyone had luck with finding that stove when building? My only idea is to place the game fire station and eliminate everything except the stove and then rebuild my BnS fire station--but I really don't want to have to do that!   Any ideas?

I don't blame you!  That is an AWESOME fire station!  But I think you might be SOL and your idea is the best and maybe the only one.  I'm modifying the salon because I'm too lazy to build one with a break room.  My Stylist Sim had to go home for lunch!  I figure with a frig, at least she can have what's ever available in it.  Not even a microwave...how rude!  This particular building has a FOUNDATION between 2 floors!  Wonder how/why they did THAT 'cause it serves no purpose except to create a middle grid that I'm using for a split staircase.  Well, good luck and let us know if you figure out how to get that or any stove.  Did you notice that you CAN use washers, dryers and clothes lines on a community lot?  I guess you can build laundromats?  Too funny!

Hmm that stinks, I wonder if it would be as simple simple as checking availible to community lots in OC/TSRW, I betting it's beyond that though, I'll test it and tell you what I find
