Okay so I've seen this done but I'm not sure how to do it - how do you build a garage with foundation? I want it to look like the garage is on the ground with no foundation but a wall connects it to a house with foundation, and stairs lead down into the garage. Can someone help me out please? Thanks!

Yay! Thanks! Okay I got it done, but I do have one problem left - no matter which way I put it, the front of the garage (the part without the bar over it) will not show up; it's all greyed out like it doesn't exist. It starts at the foundation wall and above that it's all gray. Is this just a temporary graphic issue? Or did I do something wrong?

Grr...I've tried rebuilding the house multiple times and no matter what I do or where I put the door or garage, the door will not show up. It looks like this:

Why is it doing that? :(

If you watch the tutorial at about 2.30min there's a spot where you make the bottom wall a full wall and use cheats to half-wall the top wall, just where the door is meant to go. That's a bad explanation but it's in the video :p Basically, the door needs to be on the full wall.

Aha I got it! :D Yeah it said to delete 4 foundation walls but for me, if I deleted all of them where the door should go, then it worked. So I did finally get it. :) Next I'll be learning how to do sunken rooms. I've got a tutorial for that woot!
