Every time one of my Sims goes near the kitchen they make "eww" sounds and the dirty can comes up on the mood reader thingy and it reads the Sim is disgusted by the filth and smell. I've hired a maid (several different), a couple of my Sims have the option to have them clean the entire house and I've had them do it many times. I've taken all the food out of the fridge, taken the trash out and everything else I can think of but the smell is still there. Any ideas and/or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!! | |

Maybe move all your counters and appliances to make sure there's no spoiled food underneath? Not sure how it would have gotten there, but it's worth a try... | |

You should also check to make sure that no one in the household has rotten food in their backpack nor in the family inventory. Also, is it possible that there's a trash pile hiding somewhere on the other side of the wall (perhaps in a spot that the family cannot access)? | |

Maybe you should try deleting all of the trash cans and buying new ones.It could be a glitch. | |

I have moved several times and it seems like the kitchen/bathroom/ everything is getting dirty faster than normal. I tried hiring a butler, still not clean; hired a maid, still not clean enough; have both of my adult simmies with the neat trait clean the house, n I still get the little trashcan thingy. It's starting to really annoy me, but I wonder if it is another glitchy issue with late night. I'm getting all sorts of weird mood symbols, including my vamp occationally has vampire vigor at 10am....lol..I'm sure EA will take care of all the little bugs with late night soon. | |
