Moderator Posts: 94 | Ok, this is probably a stupid question, but my daughter wants to play the sims too. So I was wondering, does anyone know if you can install sims on more that one computer if it is owned by one person? Also, I've missed you all. Football/cheer season is up...phew! So back to simming I am! ;0D Talk to ya later! Diana | |

Yes you can but you wouldn't be able to play at the same time because you need the disk

No unfortunately... I started playing TS2 when I was about that age and it took me a while to figure out how to have a baby since it's not really something you stumble upon just in the game unless you know what you're looking for, then again maybe I was just slow....
It's not really a big deal , she already understands the basics and the sims is so passive anyway unless you have a nudity patch or something...

If you have the EA download manager, you should be able to enter your game serial code (from your physical game copy) and download a digital version of the game that can then be played without the disc. My digital version rights allows me to do this with up to 3 computers at a time, so I suppose I could have three family members playing at the same time (but I have never tried this).

My recollection is: You CAN install the BASE game, which only comes on a disk, on another computer using YOUR “ID” and registration code and I think you can do the same with any EP’s and/or SP’s you have one disk. If you have any EP’s and/or SP’s that were downloaded, I’m very sure you can install/reinstall them on another PC that has the BASIC game installed. I did this for TS2 and it worked but didn’t bother with it for TS3 since my son is no longer interested. Hope that helps.

Simple way for you and ur daughter to play is one peron loads the game up first then you can take the disk out and give it to the other. You can PLAY the game without the disk, you just can't START without it (except if u do that whole registering blah blah the others were talking about.
I do it all the time cos my brother is a sims addict too, had to find a compromise LOL
