I have created a sims style version of the local hangout in my hometown for many teenagers. Many local adults are regulars as well, just thought it would be interesting to add a place such as this to the game. Thinking would be an ideal setting for movies or stories and hope to come up with one soon. Obviously it couldn't be an exact replica as there are several items not available once the lot type is changed to community, but I feel it's very close. If you have time take a look, let me know what you think!;)

Hey, I like it. Feels kinda like a modern version of the burger joint, hangout/ drive in. Cool, it actually gave me an idea on a club...a biker joint...lol...oooh, this might be a little too fun...hehehe. (I work at a huge motorcycle dealership...lol)

Hey mryjn1976, not sure where, but it listed you were having trouble with interior decorating? I'm guessing putting together pleasing patterns and colors? If you do need some help in that area, Ruthless has a really wonderful tutorial on it that helped me tons! I don't have the link, but you can look her up on thesims3.com and find it in her studio, or I'm pretty sure I faved it in my studio there. There are so many great tutorials out there! Although I think most are from BB members...lol.

I looks really cute! Do you have some ineterior pics?  Also, piggybacking on what Balidaisy said, if you need design inspiration I'd suggest LivingSims magazine.  It's a great resource - you'll see such realistic designs you never would have thought possible in TS3 :)

OMG, I just went back and read my post. I did not mean to imply that choosing pleasing patterns and colors was an issue with your drive-in. I just know that as far as interior design goes, that is a common concern, and one that I did and still work on. Kitkat, I will have to check out that site. Thx!

Thanks for that LivingSims magazine link Kitkat!  I saved it and will check it out when I have time!  There are SO many places to go now.  THIS place looks like a ghost town anymore!
