If you are interested in joining a fun race with sims, this is the challenge for you! We already have some couples signed up and we need some more! Sign ups will run for another week or so and there will be a practice run so there's still time left to go over the rules and make your sims according to what you think would be good for the race! If you go now, you would have time to participate in the practice run! So come on over and join in the fun!

hmmm - I love the Amazing Race! What a great idea for a Sim challenge...I may give this a try... I would sign up my simself and my husband  - Dale  & Kathy Kitkat.  What else do I need to do?

I'm having a really hard time with the Centennial Vale siggy on this site for some reason. What am I doing wrong? I did the same thing I did for the image on BB Min-Challenges and it's not working....any suggestions?

Okay, so I checked out the race page again and saw the practice run.  I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out, so I did.  It seems like a fun challenge!  So I decided to join it too!

Yay k2!  I'm still trying to figure out how to make the Collection Helper work... hope I get it figured out in time

Yeah, I had a bit of trouble at first too.  Sometimes on new games the spawners haven't spawned any items immediately.  Switch it to fish and see if anything shows up.  There should always be fish.  If you don't get fish icons on the map, then something is wrong, but if they do show, then you are fine, you will just have to fast forward time.  It took like a day for any bugs to show up on my game.

It's so nice to see ya both there! I'm having a bit of trouble because my game is freezing up on me so much in gameplay--which is one reason why I started building...but I'm going to give it another try today. I'm at the part that I have to get a local to splash my sim at the pool--haven't had any luck with that one...I've had to order 4 different pizzas because they spoil on me! LOL

Patience - I thought I had a picture of my sim being splashed by a local... Then I realized I was at the wrong pool!!!  ARGH!.  So I had to redo it and it took several stinky pizzas to get the picture again!

I got my entry in on time (barely!).  How about you guys?  For some reason I thought you couldn't post the entry until the time listed, but I guess it was actually the deadline? Anyway, I'll be ready for the official leg.  Has it been released yet?

Yep. Got it posted. But that time stamp thing is the time to post as well as the deadline. You can't post until that 24 hour time period. I'm ready for the first real leg of it too. I had a lot of fun with that one and my game is running better now that I cleaned up my computer some. I am almost finished with my Centennial Vale house. It's actually my best creation yet I think. I have the shell finished and some furnishings in it. I just have to finish furnishing and CAS everything afterward. I haven't missed the deadline for that too have I? I sure hope not. LOL

Anyways, just wanted to let ya know about the posting time thing for the race. It was a little confusing for me at the beginning, but there was a challenger who posted early and had to post last because of it. I felt bad for her, but it helped put it into perspective for me at the same time.

Ha! I came it last place by about 10 hours   Soooo glad that was jsut a practice leg!

You're good on the Centenniel Vale house.  We'll keep going another couple of weeks to try and fill up the neighborhood.
