About Me
ABOUT ME: I'm an older, single working mom with a 21/yr-old man-child living at home in our modest house with our 2 old cats and his young dog. I bought our house when he was just a little guy and then had a HUGE garage built just for him after he developed an interest in auto mechanics many years before he was old enough to drive. I don’t think he’ll EVER leave home now. Good thing I have an “OK” job that I’ve been with for a while and will retire from but I’m just shy of being “poor,” according to our government’s standards.
On a beautiful sunny Sunday summer morning (6/27/10) we sadly said goodbye to our 2 beloved old and faithful feline family members, Casper and Buggsy. Both of them had serious heath issues so when Casper declined suddenly, we decided to allow them to travel to "The Rainbow Bridge" together...until we meet again.
ABOUT MY ADDICTION TO THE SIMS: It was my son that got me hooked on The Sims 10 years ago and it’s been a “trip” ever since. I don’t need to express everything I love about it because YOU KNOW! My TS3 plumbbob is dangling from a shiny wind-catcher over my chair at work and my cubical is decorated with TS2 pics of our building that I replicated inside and out. My TS coffee mug is on my shelf, TS3 sticker on my mail box and a printed version of a TS2 story about our department/coworkers is hanging on the outside of my cubical for anyone to read. My BFF coworker uses the pic of her house that I replicated in TS3 as her PC desktop pic. I replicated mine too and you can find both on my TS3/BBS page. Everyone at work is totally aware of my obsession with this game and gets a kick out of it. One of my TS2 pics of our building was included in a slide-show that over 100 employees saw and they were more than impressed. That was BETTER than getting a BBS trophy for it!
ABOUT MY NAME AND PIC: This cameo has been my "logo" and in my possession for 40 years. It was a gift from a very special lady in my life and considering all that I've lost in that time, I'm amazed I managed to hang onto it! However, there were several occasions when I nearly lost IT too. WHEW! As hard as it was, last November 2009, I passed it down to my daughter who recently gave birth to my first grandchild, a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately, they live thousands of miles away but we stay in touch.

Edit: My too old feline family members, Buggsy & Casper, traveled to the "Rainbow Bridge" together on 6/27/10 where they will wait for me. In their honor, I created a CAP pattern for them, all domestic cats (past/present) and their human families who love and care/cared for them too. A recommendation from you would be appreciated in the spirit of acknowledging their existance and passing. Thank you.

I've always said..Better late than never..I never saw your Reply "Cameo" I feel terrible about that..I'm senile every now and then..I haven't been back here since the Welcome stuff..I've just been really into my Sims but also I had been trying to build on my own from what I've seen on others creations as a guide..I did not get into the "Challenges" at this time..Maybe never- not for me because I totally relax when I play and its sad enough when people don't even Recommend on good creations on the Main Site.
